About National Defence Academy
The National Defence Academy (NDA) is the joint defence service training institute of the Indian Armed Forces. Here, cadets(boy and Girls) Selected for Indian Army, Indian Navy, and Indian Air Force train together before they go on to their respective service academies for further pre-commission training after three years. The NDA is located in Khadakwasla, Pune, Maharashtra.
It is the first tri-service academy in the world.
The Supreme Court of India passed an order in August 2021 that allowed female candidates to appear for the all upcoming NDA entrance examination.
Every six Months 450(Approx.) students Join NDA after Clearing the various stages of selections which includes Written, SSB, Medicals and Final Merit.
Examination Details
NDA Exams are conducted Twice a year in the month of April/September of every year. The notification for the same is published in June/July and December/January every year.

Syllabus of NDA consist of various subjects mainly Mathematical Ability and General ability.

Mathematical ability paper consists of 120 questions of 2.5 marks each with a negative marking of 1/3 for every wrong attempt. The syllabus of mathematics consists of complete XI and XII syllabus prescribed by CBSE.

General ability Paper consists of 50 questions of English, 50 questions of Physics/Chemistry/Biology and 50 Questions of History/Geography/Political science each carrying 4 marks with a negative marking of 1/3 for every wrong attempt.
