Hello everyone,
I am Cadet Ashish Kumar from Rashtriya Military School (RMS) Dholpur, and it’s a pleasure to share my journey with you all. After months of focused preparation at Georgians Defence Academy, I cleared my SSB interview on 23rd March 2020 at 11 SSB Allahabad for NDA 144.
Like every Defence aspirant, I joined Georgians Defence Academy with the hope of learning, improving, and presenting my best self at the SSB centre. In the beginning, I struggled with pronunciation mistakes and excessive hand movements while speaking. However, daily lecturette practice at the academy helped me overcome these issues and improve my communication.
Similarly, in the psychology section, I found it difficult to write good stories at first. But at Georgians, I was guided to relate every TAT picture to my real-life experiences. This approach turned out to be crucial, as during my psychology test at SSB, I was able to connect every picture to my life, which I believe contributed significantly to my recommendation.
What truly sets Georgians Defence Academy apart is the individualized feedback provided by KP Sir and Deepak Sir after every activity—whether it’s a lecturette, group discussion, psychology session, or outdoor task. This personal attention allowed me to work on my specific weaknesses and continuously improve.
Another unique aspect of the academy is that there’s no strict time limit—unlike other academies, you have ample opportunity to learn and grow at your own pace. This supportive environment gave me the confidence and skills I needed for success.
