Hi friends,
I am Harsh Shete from RIMC Dehradun. I am thrilled to share my success story of being recommended for the 152nd NDA course. My journey began in Hupari, Kolhapur, where I grew up with a passion for serving my country. My parents always supported my dream, and my elder brother joining Sainik School was the first step in this direction. He became a role model for me and encouraged me to prepare for RIMC.
With the guidance of my parents, teachers, and elder brother, I was able to clear my AFMC exam—one of the happiest moments for me and my family. The environment at RIMC helped me groom my personality, not just in academics but also in sports and co-curricular activities. Life at RIMC strengthened my determination to join the Armed Forces. My elder brother, who went on to join NDA, used to share his experiences with me during vacations and phone calls, further motivating me.
The rigorous training and education I received at RIMC built a strong foundation for a career in the Defence Forces. However, I knew that cracking the NDA exam required even more dedication. I made a proper plan, started preparing for the NDA written exam, and successfully cleared it. Then came the preparation for SSB. That's when I joined Georgians Defence Academy to get the right environment, where I received guidance from experienced mentors like KP Sir. He gave personal attention to my preparation, helping me identify my strengths and weaknesses. I gained clarity in my approach to Psychology, practiced PPDT, GD, and lecturette, and benefited greatly from mock interviews at the Academy, which helped me confidently face the IO at the SSB centre.
With their support and my relentless efforts, I was able to crack the exam and get recommended for 152 NDA with an All India Rank of 132. I am forever grateful to my family and mentors—especially at Georgians Defence Academy—who believed in me and pushed me to achieve my dreams.
