Unmarried Male & Unmarried Female (Graduates)

✔ Age Limit

19 to 25 years as on 01 July 2025

(Born between 02 July 2000 and 01 July 2006)

🎓 Educational Qualification

For NCC ‘C’ Certificate Holders:

• Minimum 50% aggregate in Graduation
• Minimum ‘B’ Grade in NCC ‘C’ Certificate
• Must have served minimum 2–3 years in NCC (Senior Division/Wing)

⚠ Final year students can apply — but must produce degree proof by 1 Oct 2025, else candidature will be cancelled

⚠ Provisional NCC ‘C’ Certificate will NOT be accepted at SSB

• NCC Men: 70 (63 General + 07 Wards of Battle Casualties)
• NCC Women: 06 (05 General + 01 Wards of Battle Casualties)

Selection is gender-wise and merit lists are prepared separately.

📝 Selection Process (No Written Exam!)

Application → Shortlisting → SSB (5 Days) → Medical → Merit List → Joining Letter

📍 SSB Centres: Prayagraj, Bhopal, Bengaluru, Jalandhar

Only shortlisted candidates appear for SSB.

🎓 Pre-Commission Training Academy: Officers Training Academy (OTA), Chennai

⏳ Duration: 49 Weeks

💰 Stipend During Training: ₹56,100 per month

🎖 Rank After Commissioning: Lieutenant

On successful completion, candidates are awarded

Post Graduate Diploma in Defence Management & Strategic Studies

💰 Salary & Benefits After Commission

CTC approx ₹17–18 Lakhs per annum

Pay Matrix (Starting Rank)

Lieutenant – Level 10 – ₹56,100 to ₹1,77,500

Plus:

• Military Service Pay ₹15,500/month
• Field Area Allowances
• Siachen Allowance ₹53,125
• Flying / SF Allowance ₹31,250
• Dress Allowance ₹25,000/year
• Children Education Allowance
• Army Group Insurance ₹1 Crore cover

⏳ Tenure of Service

Minimum: 10 Years

Maximum: 14 Years

Options:

• Release after 5 years (subject to approval)
• Apply for Permanent Commission after 10 years

• No marriage during training
• Marriage before joining = cancellation
• Withdrawal leads to recovery of training cost
