These words have always inspired me and ignited a passion for serving in the armed forces. Hello everyone! I am Priyanshu Pandey from Prayagraj, Uttar Pradesh. I completed my schooling at the prestigious Rashtriya Military School, Bangalore. Since my school days, reading about the bravery of Indian Air Force pilots and the powerful Su-30MKI fascinated me, and I began to dream of wearing the blue uniform with stars on my shoulders.
As I studied in military school, my passion for becoming an Air Force pilot only grew. The thought of embarking on the journey from "पहला पग - अंतिम पग" (first step to last step) kept me motivated. After clearing the NDA written examination, I was full of energy and excitement, but also a bit intimidated by the SSB process.
One of my friends recommended the Georgians Defence Academy, and joining it proved to be a turning point. At Georgians, the mentors never imposed their views; instead, they guided us to recognize our own strengths and weaknesses. Daily lectures and group discussions—always current and engaging—helped me polish my conversational and interpersonal skills. What truly made the difference was the daily motivation and personalized feedback provided by Kuwar Pratap Sir and Deepak Sir. Their support and belief in me were invaluable.
Both mentors emphasized that the academy wasn’t just about coaching; it was about enhancing one’s personality. The environment they created, along with their attention to every student, helped me overcome my fears and focus on my development.
As a result, I was recommended in my very first SSB attempt for the Air Force. I owe this achievement to my mentors and the supportive atmosphere at Georgians Defence Academy.
