Union Health Minister Announces SAHI and BODH Frameworks for AI in Healthcare
Union Health Minister J. P. Nadda announced the launch of the SAHI (Safe and Accountable Health AI) and BODH (Benchmarking of Digital Health) frameworks to regulate and standardize Artificial Intelligence applications in India’s healthcare system. The frameworks aim to ensure ethical AI deployment, patient data protection, algorithm transparency, and accountability in clinical decision-making. These initiatives align with India’s broader digital health strategy under the Ayushman Bharat Digital Mission.
India–France Agreement on HAMMER Precision-Guided Weapon
