Indian Air Force Participates in Exercise Tarang Shakti 2026 with the United States Air Force

The Indian Air Force is hosting the second edition of Exercise Tarang Shakti 2026, a multinational air exercise at Air Force Station Jodhpur, Rajasthan, from 26 September to 12 October 2026. The United States Air Force is among the participating forces.

The exercise brings together air forces from several countries to strengthen operational cooperation and interoperability. American F-35A Lightning II fighter aircraft are among the notable aircraft participating in the exercise.

1. India Defeats West Indies by 14 Runs in Third T20 International

India defeated the West Indies by 14 runs in the third Twenty20 International at Holkar Cricket Stadium, Indore, on 11 October 2026.

India scored 223 runs, with Abhishek Sharma contributing 69 runs off 30 balls. Arshdeep Singh took three wickets. India took a 2–1 lead in the five-match series.

2. Anmol Kharb Wins Türkiye International Challenge

Indian badminton player Anmol Kharb won the women's singles title at the Türkiye International Challenge, defeating fellow Indian Aakarshi Kashyap in straight games, 21–11 and 21–14.\

3. Udhayveer Sidhu Wins Gold at ISSF World Cup

Indian shooter Udhayveer Sidhu won gold in the men's 10-metre air pistol event at the International Shooting Sport Federation World Cup in Cairo, Egypt, scoring 240.6 points in the medal match.
